Boy turns 16. *Insert tragedy*. Boy hears voices. Boy sees hallucinations. This goes on for 3 months.
Boy has a mental breakdown. Falls down stairs and becomes unconscious
Boy wakes up in hospital. Blinded. Touches his face to find out his head is covered in bandages. Doctor tells his family that he had quite violent knock to the part of his noggin' responsible for his sense of sight *Cut to MRI scans of the lad's head. Certain parts of the brain show unusual electrical activity, denoted by flares of colour*
Boy wakes up 2 weeks later. Doctor removes bandages. Boy see's his family. Glad & happy faces on boy's family. But what's this, boy see's spots of forest green(?) surrounding his family. Boy dismisses it as just his eye's adjusting to the light.
Boy finally gets discharged. Boy still see's green spots surround his family as they walk out the lobby. Looking around, boy see's spots of dull red dancing around a drowsy-looking man in a wheelchair and of a group of nurses heading for a restaurant, with bright indigo halos floating above them ever so gently.
As boy walks to parking lot, he see's an ambulance crew walking out double doors with the bright bold words "EMERGENCY" above it. They drag their feets, with sweat-soaked, retired faces as they stare at the ground while they head for their ambulance again. Boy see's splotches of bright red on their uniforms. Tangible, physical splotches of red. Blood.
A giant cloud of dirty haze-coloured air sticks to the group. Not tangible. Nor physical.
Boy see's that the ambulance crew's path were going to intersect the group of nurses'. As the two groups pass eachother, he see's their respective clouds and halos mixing with one another in a tame, yet kaleidoscopal dance. As the distance between the 2 groups grows farther apart the boy notices the indigo halos are now blotched with grey and the grey cloud blotched with indigo.
In all of this, one of the ambulance crew gives his partner compassionate pat on the back, while a hint of anxiety presents itself on the faces of the once-relieved nurses.
Boy snaps out of it after repeated nudges on the shoulder. He turns to see his parents with confused looks on their faces. They glow a curious, soft orange. Boy tells them that he thought he saw a kitty, and proceeded to get into the car.
On the ride home they drive by the hospital again. Boy see's the wheelchair man again, and suddenly feels like nodding off. He looks at his hands and palms. Dull red spots swirl around them.

So, thats my main premise for yet another story/novel/whatever I have in mind. It still lacks a main plot. And characters. And a hook. And a title. But hey, not bad for guy who writes on the fly huh? And it only took 50 mins.
If you guys have any suggestions or watever, go ahead and tell me. I need feedback, thoughts, critiscisms, pointers, and whatever else you can throw at me.
Meows are welcomed too =)
